Dolphin Discoveries - Dolphin Discovery Adventure
Enjoy a morning dolphin watching cruise along the scenic Kona Coast. Start your adventure looking for one of the many pods that are traveling back to one of their many resting areas from their night time feeding. This is the time to catch the spinner dolphins in playful leaps and spins! After viewing the dolphins, we’ll leave them to their natural resting cycle and head to a snorkel site to enjoy the water and marine life around.

Check in at 7:00 am. Boat departs at 8:00 am. Return at 12:00 pm
Check in at the Dolphin Discoveries retail store, located in the Keauhou Shopping Center, 78-6831 Alii Drive, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740, Space F-146. The retail store is located in the courtyard behind Tropics Tap House, KTA and Bianellis Restaurant.

Additional check-in info:
Check-in is at the retail location to sign waivers and receive items required for the tour. After that, drive to Keauhou Bay harbor from where the boat will depart. Transportation to the retail store and to Keahou Bay is the responsibility of the guests. If you are taking an Uber, please let your driver know to add a first stop and a second stop to your reservation so that the driver will wait for you at the retail location before taking you to Keauhou Bay.

The maximum weight per guest is 280 lbs (127 kg).
All guests should know how to swim and be comfortable swimming in the ocean.
Day trips are not recommended for people with back or neck problems or those who may be pregnant as the trip can be bumpy.
- Special Notes:
- Dolphin Discoveries is extremely proud of their "Dolphin View" record being nearly 98% of the time. However, if for any reason dolphins are not seen on the day of your tour, you will be offered the opportunity go out a second time at no additional charge on a space available basis.
